I know this is completely random, but I just love watching Hal Gill play defense. He is just a force, hes constantly throwing people off the puck, poke checking, doing whatever he can to disrupt any potential offensive play.

Onto tonight's game, it will be a tough one, as it usually is with the kings. Erat and Fisher need to step up tonight if we want any chance of winning, as it seems when those 2 are productive, good things happen.

Regarding Lindback, this from Mitch Korn, again via Josh Cooper's blog: “You can measure (his season) in game results, or you can measure it in day-to-day results in which there is no scoreboard. From day-to-day results, from work ethic, consistency, skill, the skill of playing goal, to the understanding of the league – all the things we wanted him to improve on, he is way better than he was a year ago.”

Let's hope the rest of his team shows less complacency and a bit more of much-needed urgency if/when Anders (or Pekka for that matter) starts in net. And for goodness sake Preds look 4 points behind you! In any event, at the very least we need conference 4th place imo.

He is so living up to the billing. Great on the dot and that pass breaking out Craig Smith for the breakaway was BEA-utiful. Love having him for the grit and size, something we always need come playoff time. Hope he re-signs here, but I'm sure you don't want that.

There is ZERO justification for having Wilson on the bench and Tootoo on the ice. Suter is the new Klein. Once again this team has a chance to gain on Detroit and they blow it. 7 years running now.

Preds got dominated! In every single aspect of the game.

The Preds being 'deep' is BS. Trotz needs to cement the 3rd and 4th lines and stop changing them up every game. We're going down the stretch now and don't know who will be playing on the team on any given night, barring injuries. Wilson being scratched makes NO sense (and I'm not biased because of my avatar!)!

EDIT: I truly hate to admit it but Wilson would probably be better off on another team.

So glad we had tootoo and yip on the ice rather than Wilson!!! 33 is around fifth on the team in scoring and he has never played on the top two lines this year. Give him a break and let the kid do his thing.

didn't Wilson play on the 2nd line with Leggie and Hornqvist? It seems they did really well together, but of course, Trotz nixed that.

Guess he wasn't paying attention to 'detail' as they were racking up all those points.

well apparently Wilson has an injured groin, so that makes more sense.
